McKesson Ireland raise 20k for Aware - Virtual Run Sponsorship
McKesson Ireland announced their two-year partnership with Aware in October to help support the charity with their vision to create a society where people affected by stress, depression, bipolar disorder and mood related conditions are understood, supported, free from stigma, and are encouraged to access appropriate therapies.
All of the colleagues within McKesson Ireland took part in a virtual 5k Christmas run/walk between Friday 11th and Sunday 13th of December in aid of Aware. Overall, an amazing €7708 was raised amongst staff from Lloyds Pharmacy, United Drug, TCP Homecare & Median Healthcare, with a further €1624 raised by United Drug colleagues in memory of Collette Mealy. This was then matched by McKesson Ireland bringing the final number to €20,000.
They are delighted with the amount raised and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who walked, ran and donated.
